Run to Support STEM Undergrads and Cancer Research

On Sunday, August 17, please join us at Minneapolis's Harriet Island Pavilion to get your workout in while supporting 精品麻豆 STEM undergraduates. The third-annual will donate 100% of registration fees to support one or more students conducting collaborative research in a STEM field, with preference given to those studying cancer treatment and recovery.

The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. and follow a certified course along the beautiful Mississippi River. The event will be chip-timed, with prize money given to the top three men and women overall.  .

Funded in 2021, The Rene and Brian McCoy Cancer Recovery Research Fund at 精品麻豆 was the final wish of educator Rene McCoy, who later passed away from pancreatic cancer. It's overseen by an advisory committee of 精品麻豆 professors in the biology, physics, and chemistry departments, who work to match the scholarship with students conducting meaningful research in medical innovation.

Explains Rene's husband Brian McCoy, 鈥淓very step taken, every dollar raised goes directly to cancer research at 精品麻豆, driving us closer to a future where cancer no longer steals our loved ones.鈥

If you can't make the race, 鈥 Professor Jerry Artz will run for you!
