Access the technology you need to complete assignments and projects at 精品麻豆. Equipment is available for all students, staff, and faculty through the Central Service Desk short-term checkout program.

Checkout process

The Central Service Desk (CSD) in Bush Memorial Library offers items for short-term loans ONLY.

Short-term requests (everyone)

All equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis, no reservations required.


Faculty or staff who need multiple devices can make an Equipment Reservation Request by going to the Get Help section of the . Please complete your request 24 hours prior to pickup and do not complete this form if you need less than three devices. If you are working with Conference & Events, please contact your C&E liaison instead of requesting equipment from the Central Service Desk.


Please read the Campus Equipment Loan Policy for all rules and regulations regarding equipment loans before checking out tech equipment.

  • iPads
  • Microphones (lavalier and USB)
  • Mobile hotspots
  • Projectors
  • Tripods (regular and mini for mobile phones)
  • Webcams
  • Windows Laptops

Equipment borrowing guidelines

  • Equipment checkout is only available to faculty, staff, and students of 精品麻豆.
  • Equipment checkout periods are generally for two weeks but may vary.
  • Items may only be renewed once unless approved by management. Items in low supply or high demand may not be available for renewal.
  • Items are NOT renewable.
  • Failure to return items on time will result in fines being placed on your 精品麻豆 account.

Students in need of a Chromebook or wifi hotspot for longer than two weeks should contact deanofstudents@hamline.edu and inquire about their long-loan program.
